Birth Control Pill dilemma.

by SL84, Dec 13, 2007 08:06PM
I have been taking Alesse for over two years now, and have never had any problems with late periods or anything like that.  This past month, due to stress and problems, I've been a little less-than-stellar with taking my pill at the right time.  A few times I took it a few hours after my regular time, but at one point I did forget to take it for two nights. I took both pills on the morning of the third day, and later on that evening I continued with one pill as usual.  I also took an extra week of pills (a total of four) to push my period forward by one week.
I usually get my period on a Wednesday, but it is now Thursday night and I haven't gotten anything like I usually get.  I've had some brownish-red discharge from around the time I missed the two pills until now, but no actual blood flow or anything.  Would this be a normal result of me messing around with the schedule like that or should I start worrying about pregnancy tests (I had sex w/o a condom with my boyfriend a few days after I resumed normal pill taking)?
