Birth Control and Pregnancy

I have been on birth control for a couple of years.  I recently forgot to take my pill 4 days in a row and started my period.  I stopped taking the pack.  My period ended in a few days. I was unable to start another pack the sunday after my period.  Its been about five weeks since my last period and I am sexually active. Could I be pregnant or is this normal?

Take a home pregnancy test....cheap and quick answer.  Yes, if you mess up your pills and then not take them, continue to be sexually active, and haven't seen a period in 5 weeks....it would be VERY possible that you could be pregnant.  It doesn't mean that you ARE, just very possible.
