Hello,
I'm 17 years old and have been sexually active for 3 years and have been tested with negative results for all STD's.
Although since I was quite a bit younger I have always noted a small nodule of rough flesh just inside my vagina and I was wondering if many womenWomen's way have slight abnormalities with their vagina? I always imagines that the interior of most womenWomen's way's vaginas to be quite smooth and straight but I seem to have a lot of weird textures and shapes?
Also quite a bit further in there is another smooth lumpLumps in the breasts of flesh and this has a slight opening and is usually more present when I have my period and I have no clue what this is and I'm really worried about this, because I have heard many people say that when a girl has this is has something to do with it being a half formed mutation as a fetus? I heard a teacher the other day describing these lumpsLumps in the breasts as being evidence of a penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain? I'm really quite terrified! I thought perhaps I might have a really bizarre cervix that somehow comes down further but pushes back during intercourseCauses of painful intercourse Sexual intercourse - painful (which is why no sexual partners would have noticed it). It's quite hard to explain how it feels, it's about 2-3 cm across and has a slight dip in the that feels like an orifice? It has the same amount of feeling as the rest of the inside of my vagina and has always been there. It does not seem to stop me having normal intercourse but I still have that deep set fear that I will find out it's horribly wrong...
I'm sorry if this all sounds quite silly and perhaps it's very obvious and normal but better safe than sorry I suppose?
funnily enough there are very few "smooth" vaginas... the inside of the vagina is actually made up of what are called "rugae" which are folds of tissue, the purpose of which are to expand to accommodate a penis. So everything that you have is probably very normal.... Sometimes wee polyps (small growths of tissue) can develop or if you have rough intercourse you can develop scar tissue or granulation which is an overgrowth of tissue over a healing area. Sometimes cysts can develop as well. The best advice I can give you is to see a doctor you trust (sometimes a gynaecologist is best) and tell them about your concerns and get them to explain everything to you. Its your body and you have a right to feel comfortable about it.
PS if you are having normal intercourse with no pain, no abnormal discharge or other problems then you are most likely fine and just like the rest of us :)
omg, thank god, i have exactly the same thing, i was worried so i googled it and this came up, everything u discribed is like me, im 18 its like a cylinder of flesh ,with a little hole..if u find out what it is, pleaseeee, post it up here because im getting worried myself
