Bladder Infection? Help!

This past weekend I started to experience bladder infection type symptoms. Urinating was painful, but possible. I took some Cranberry pills and the pain while urinating has disappeared. However so has the urine. I am only able to urniate if I push really hard and only a little at a time. There's no blood, but it does hurt at the beginning when fluid is released. Has anyone ever experienced this? IS it a bladder infection? My Dr is away until Sept 7th and I'd really rather avoid emerg.

OMG that Uva-Ursi stuff is AMAZING... I only took it this morning and everything has pretty much cleared itself up. You're a life saver...thanks so much for your help! If I could buy a share in this I would lol.

Also, to freeworld, thanks for the great advice as well! :)

If it feels uncomfortable and like you need to urinate and cannot, it's a bladder infection. Keep taking the pills and drink juice as well. Ginger helps well for me too. Don't take baths. People think it helps with the discomfort for a short while, but the tub is full of bacteria and can make it worse.

Hi... YES this is a bladder infection - (probably) I had that for a few days and finally the blood did pass - the pain was worse than giving birth!@#!

First thing there is a bladder infection test you can get over the counter at your local walgreens or cvs

I would do that first - if it comes up negative then I would go to the hospital because what if it is something serious

If it comes up as if you have one just go to your local whole foods market or your local alternative market and ask for UVA-URSI

GET THE LIQUID!!!!!!

I use about 4 droppers added to a little warm water four times a day for about 5 days
It works WONDERS do not take any cranberry when on this stuff.....

You will feel ten times better in about 24 hours but keep taking it for at least 5 days you wont need to go to the doctors for this if you do this.

Good luck and keep me posted on your progress :)
