Bleeding, Cramping and Clots

Ladies, I need some help. I called my doctor today but he's not in the office until 5pm.

Anywho, on July 2 I went for my sonogram [external and internal] I was bleeding alittle bit, but nothing to concern me. On Monday night I started bleeding very heavy, where I could feel the "gushes". I'm also having horrible cramping mostly on the left side, but I have dull aches most of the time in my pelvic area. The bleeding I dont always have and the cramping too. Most times it starts around 10pm at night, but on tuesday it started at 8pm, Wednesday started at 3pm and today I had it all day. I go to the bathroom and I keep passing blood clots the size of a quarter today. I'm still bleeding light as of right now. Yesterday the bleeding was stopping, but around 5:30 or so, my boyfriend gave me an orgasm and thats when my cramping and bleeding started up again. Only thing is, it really hasn't stopped since.

Today is the last day I take Aygestin 5mg. But now I am confused because Im suppose to start birth control pills when I finished these pills when I start my period. But Im bleeding already, how will I know when my period is really here?

The sharp pain I get only comes maybe like on a bad day every 5 mins, but on a good day I can go like an 1hr without it, but I will still have this dull ache in my pelvic area. The pain feels like "pulling" or "twisting". As a reminder I do have PCOS. Also LMP was April 15.

Any advice ladies? I'm not really suppose to be bleeding while taking this medicine right?

Thanks

Your fine. I have a few problems I am dealing with. Having clots while on your period is perfectly normal. The only thing that is not normal is if the clots are really big. I too have clots while on my period.

Thanks. I talked to my doctor, he said to take the last pill today and wait for my period to start. He also said the pain might be due to a cyst that I might have developed. He hasn't gotten my results yet, but I go in on July 15. I fel better now. My pains have subsided, and I think the bleeding is stopping.
