Bleeding 10 days after period

Hi there,

My period came the usual time, a little heavier than normal, lasted 5 days and came to a stop. But the following morning I noticed some bright red blood when I wiped. Not a lot of blood,but nevertheless there. This has been going on now for 10 days straight. This morning, the 11 day it is much stronger..still bright red blood. I went to the GYN but she didnt see anything wrong with my cervix & the blood work she ran came back normal. She advocated birth control, I am trying to conceive so not an option. I have never had this before..I'm 35 and otherwise healthy.

Any ideas? I'm starting to feel really exhausted...
