Bleeding a lot after sex

This is kind of embarrassing but I'm really worried so I'll just ask. I had sex for the first time a couple of months ago and I know that it's normal for some girls to bleed after their first time so I was prepared if that happened. After we were done having sex we noticed there was this large blood stain on the bed and I noticed that I was still bleeding. I went to the bathroom and sat in the shower and bled for about an hour non stop severely, so much that I passed out like twice. My question is, what do you guys think? Like why did I bleed so much? If it helps, I have pcos [polycystic ovarian syndrome] but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm just really worried and I want to know what some of the reasons could be for why I bled SO MUCH.
