Sometimes it is a good idea to seek another doctor's advice.

I started Yasmin about two months ago because I have a medical condition that causes me to have very heavy periods.  Unfortuantely, Yasmin hasn't stopped the bleeding and I have been bleeding constantly for a whole month.  My doctor says that it takes about six months for your body to get used to the pill.  But personally I think Yasmin isn't doing me any good.  At one point I had to take two pills at one time.  Before Yasmin, I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen which made me bleed even more than Yasmin when I took the placebo pills.

On Yasmin, I've noticed that I get more crampy when I have my period.  Also, sometimes I feel nauseous.  But other than that no other side effects.

Seasonale is the one when you get 4 periods a year. I was on Yasmin and got it 12 times a year! :)

Isn't Yasmin the one where you only get 4 periods a year?? If so I tried it for about 2 months and had breakthrough bleeding the whole time it was quite useless for me did the complete opposite than it was sopposed too.

it's probably your body adjusting to all the meds you have been on
