Bleeding during bowel movement

I had a miscarriage on Labor Day of 2005, I was 7wks preg.  I am preg again, 7wks and started spotting on 11/30.  The spotting progressed but only when having a bowel movement.  The blood is red and thick like I should be having a miscarriage.  I saw the doctor yesterday and had an internal ultra sound which showed the baby at 6cm and the heart rate 139 bpm, so all seems normal.  Any ideas why I only bleed during a bowel movement, so far I have 2 before lunch.  I am afraid to go..........

After I had my baby I had that and came to find out I had hemmeroids. Tell your doc and he should give you some mids and you should be fine. take care.

I had the same thing. I seemed to spot a lot more after a BM. Perhaps the pushing movement just pushes it all out? A gross thought, but I think it's normal.

if you are bleeding when you do a bowel movement then is it from your rectum? there could be various reasons for that including hemmeroids. you really should ask your doc. good luck.
