Bleeding during intercourse

Recently my boyfriend and I were having a full day of sex.  Some of the sex was a little rough.  After about the third time, I started to bleed a little.  Bright red.  Not real heavy, but enough to be noticed.  After I cleaned up and rested, we ended up having sex again, and I didn't bleed this time.  I had a little cramping after the bleeding in my abdomen, but it went away.

Any thoughts?

Well, it happened again.  It is a few days before my period.  Could that be a reason too?  I can't help but be worried.  I am seeing my doctor tonight.

It's to be expected after a very "active" day, to see some bleeding. If you have pain and the bleeding continues, see your doctor. Or if you are just concerned.. Also maybe try more lubrication next time. But I dont think you have anything to worry about, just the result of a "busy" day.
