Bleeding in between periods

Im not sure if i have a yeast infection but i have most of the symptoms.Ive never had one before an really didnt know what it was untill i looked it up.Well i had sex about a week ago an after i was bleeding an it wasnt heavy but was not very light either. The next day it stoped bleeding an then about 3 days later i was bleeding again, a little bit more than the first time an there was even a little bit of what felt like cramps.I dont start my period for about another three weeks so im sure thats not it.I dont know if there related an if there not what could have caused the bleeding?
