I had my period two weeks ago I then started a new set of pills a week later I accidently skipped 2 pills. For the last three days I have been having heavy bleeding I am still taking my pills but it is not stopping. Do think it has something to do with my pills? Do you think that this will mess up my cycle because I am getting married in a couple weeks and the pills would schedule me to be off my period the week before my wedding. If my cycle follows this period I will be on my period the week of my wedding and honeymoon.
My 15 year old sister had something along those lines. She was using a pill for a few months and suddenly she started bleeding while she was still on them and she bled for like 10 days straight before she decided to go to the hospital to get checked out. The doctor concluded that there wasnt a high enough level of estrogenHormone replacement therapy in the pills and this was causing her to bleed on a regularRegular insulin basis. He switched her over to tricyclen-21 and she hasnt had a problem since. Since your wedding is in a couple weeks one possibility would be to stop the pills now and your body will switch back to its normalNormal saline flush cycle. You would get your normalNormal saline flush period for the 5 or 6 days and then you should stop bleeding while your body gets back on track and start over using a different kind of pills. Your best bet would probably be to go to a doctor asap though, as he will be able to tell if its the estrogenHormone replacement therapy level of the pill or something else. Good Luck with everything and I hope its all taken care of before your wedding!
