Blood Clots that Stop Periods

For the past 6 months, my periods have changed.  I am 32 years old.  I will spot for 3-4 days, then begin my heavy period for 5-7 day.  I used to run like clockwork for 5 days.  Now, during my period, bloodflow will stop, and I feel "stopped up."  (This is the only way I know how to describe it.)  In a few hours, I feel a "pop."  A clot has passed.  Sometimes, my period resumes. Other times, I am stopped up again.  I will again pass a huge clot. (golf ball size or larger).  It makes such a mess!  Any ideas?

I agree, you need to see a dr. It could be fibroids letting you bleed large amounts, clotting off, then it does plug the cervix until it is expulled out of the uterus. Best wishes to you.
