Bloody vaginal discharge~ NO uterus

Here's my question . . . I had a hysterectomy in 1990.  I am post menopausal (55).  A few days ago I started having a thin brownish discharge, no odor, no pain and no irritation.  It has increased and is turning more pinkish brown.  Not sure what to do.  Seems strange . . . I am in a monogamous relationship and have been for 6 years. (although there has been no recent sexual activity.)  Should I go right in or can I wait it out?

I have the same situation. No uterus.  My theory.. im fighting stage 4 metastisied breast cancer.  It is now in my entire skeletal system to include hips and skull.
I take an alternative treatmet which is breaking down the cancer. It has to go somewhere.  The liver can only take so much. I think its finding the largest opening to exspell.  No uterus in the way. It seems to just dump a bit for a few hours then it stops for a week or so  then repeats itself.
Before that i passed a odorless exstemly sticky greenish substance.  Went to dr.   Check me out.  I was clean as a whistle.  No sign of any thing.
R u takeing anything to detox?

I began getting a similar discharge about 2 years ago. I didn't immediately go to the doctor, as I was dealing with incredible pain in my lower back that would run down my legs due to spinal stenosis; it was largely relieved by.a laminectomy.

My family doctor thought my discharge was an infection and prescribed a nasty cream I had to apply it inside my vagina, pretty gross, yet it did not work. She commented that my vagina was very red and irritated. Although I asked if she thought I might have pelvic organ prolapse, she said no, she didn't think so. At my next visit, she gave me a referral to an ob/gyn.

Long story short: the doc said I have pelvic organ prolapse, which I already suspected. In your case, you could also have it, since having had a hysterectomy, you are more at risk than if you had your uterus.

I'm sure there are other possible causes in your case, but I felt you should be aware of this situation as one of the possibles. Good luck.

I would definitely make an appt. My mom went through menopause & didn't have a period 4 about 6 years. A couple months ago she started getting her period bk, ever month. She was told that's not right & should be seen. Plus if u have no uterus, where would it be coming from? Are u sure u didn't cut urself or it isn't a hemroid, or even maybe a boil that popped?
