Boils/Bumps?

A couple nights ago, my vagina felt very dry and was itchy. I scratched it hoping to get relief but instead, I think I may have broken the skin, because the next day, I had three bumps down there. They are not in a cluster, just randomly spaced on the inside of my vagina. They are red around the outside with a white head. I was worried it could be herpes, but I really don't think that could be it since  I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and have never gotten this before. Before him, I did have other sex partners but I always used protection. They look larger than any picture of herpes I have seen and are not clustered like herpes. I still feel a little dry down there and I really think they are probably just boils but does anyone have any experience with this or have any insight?

There is a rather serious autoimmune disease called Behcet's Syndrome. This disease's initial symptoms closely resemble the herpes virus, causing itching, inflammation, vaginal sores, fissures, cuts, boils, or folliculitis (ingrown hairs). Other symptoms develop years later, so it is very important that you find out just what it is that is causing your symptoms. Don't be too quick to brush it off as nothing, Behcet's disease affects people of every age and every race. Also, be careful choosing a doctor, you want to see someone who know's enough to tell you what Behcet's Syndrome is all about, if they don't know that, they don't know enough to help you.
