Boils on inner thighs?

I get these boils on my inner thighs. 2 on one side and 2 on the other. They are always in the same spot. When they flare up they can get to about the size of a quarter around and half a inch high. They are very painful and if I pop one it has clear puss and blood in it. Under the boil its very hard, which makes me think its a cyst. If they are not flared they are flat and purple. I usually get them around my cycle sometimes, and they can stay for weeks. Can someone please tell me what this is? And how to make them go away?
