I had a HysterectomyHysterectomy Hysterectomy - series/Oopherectomy 6/06. Few months later my rectum prolapsed & an enterocele developed. Had surgery to repair in 10/06. Felt numb, after bowel movements, and gradually lost urgeUrge incontinence to have a BM. Has this happened to anyone else, and what, if anything did your doctor do to improve it? Diet has not helped, nor any supplements, etc. It is nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity damage.
Thanks for replying. I started seeing a Spine Specialist recently for back pain, and he suggested to me, a few weeks ago, that it might be bowel damage from my A& P Repair. At the time, we were discussingDiscussing death with children an upcoming procedure, so I didn't think to question him about his comment. I will certainly ask his PN at my appointment tomorrow morning. Again, thanks.
It does sound like nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity damage. Get a new opinion from the doc or another doctor, they might just say it takes time to heal or might think this is worth investigating. Good luck!
