Breast reduction

I had my breast reduction in Jan. 2009.  I knew it would take a long time to heal!   now it is over 12 months  - my left breast has been hurting if i wore any bra.  Like  a sharp needle at times? like my bra was pushing too hard on the scar but it has been over 16 months?   it was fine then hurt again.  I can feel some scar tissues  - some lump tissue?  I asked my primary care dr.  if that was normal.  she said you will always have that scar. But I think she misunderstood me.  i thought my surgeon said it will fade up to two years.   I felt better after one year!    bathing suit season is coming up  - i am happy that I got reduction but i am not happy how scar felt?   I am due for mammagram end of July.   Shall I wait to see what the test show? or  call my surgeon to ask question? i haven't seen him since my post - follow up last june.   any advise?

Call the surgeon and ask.  Also, move you mammogram up, or at least ask the surgeon if that would answer any questions if you did.
