Breastfeeding w/ PMS, but no period

I am breastfeeding a 6 month old, and since she was born I have been experiencing pms symptoms each month (cycle) that are gradually getting more and more intense. I have not yet had a period. I never really experienced severe pms before, and this is my 3rd child. I thought my family was gonna lock me up! And I don't think I would've blamed them :( Has anyone else experienced this? Are their any dietary or holistic treatments for this? I'd appreciate any insight!
