Breasts have been sore for weeks.

My breasts have been sore for weeks, and I am not talking slightly sore like before a menstrual cycle but extremely sore.  I have to continuously wear a sports bra and when I am in the shower I have to prop them up and the water hitting them is painful.  There is in NO WAY that I am pregnant, seeing that I don't have sex with men.  I am 23.  I don't have a regular menstrual cycle because I have a slightly higher testosterone level than what is considered normal.  I don't take birth control for this because really I rather not bleed every month.  I don't believe they are growing as I have not gained any weight and currently I am a D. I don't know what is going on but at this point I need some advice.  I don't have health insurance and I'd rather deal with the pain then go to a doctor and pay.
Also, I don't know if this is related.  I also feel like my bladder is sore.  That when I urinate it's a dull pain and if I press on my bladder it most certainly hurts.  AGAIN this is not my common menstrual symptoms.  Anyone have any idea?

Hi there

I am sure you are worried about all your symptoms anyone would be. There is a website which shows a video of how to examine your breasts this might help a bit:

The bladder problem may not necessarily be to do with your bladder you could have a cyst or endometriosis on or near your bladder causing the pain if you have no burning when you wee or blood in your urine it may not be an infection.

It sounds like you may need to have a pelvic scan and you may need to have a blood test so I am afraid you really will have to see a doctor soon.

Good luck and let us know how it goes xx

Are your breasts uniformly sore? It sounds hormonal. Is it possible that your testosterone levels shifted and that could have caused the breast pains? Are you on the depo shot or are your periods just completely irregular? Both can cause hormonal changes that may cause your sore breasts.

Your bladder being sore is honestly more of a concern than your breasts. Is it possible you have an STD or a bladder infection? If there is any burning, itching, fevers, or sever pain you really should see a dr. for that- those kind of pains don't go away on their own and a lot of times get worse.
