I am an eighteen year old female, it's been two weeks since my last period but when I woke up this morning I had a good amount of thick red vaginal discharge, which was kind of alarming. I forgot to take my birth control for about three days and I've had sex three times over the past week, with a condom.
It is probably breakthrough bleeding. It happens when you forget a pill. Smart of you to use condoms, you aren't protected this month by your pills. Look on the package insert or online on the pill's website for more info about breakthrough bleeding. You might consider tossing the rest of the month's pills to let a full period come, and then starting fresh.
