Brown ***?

My boyfriend and I was having sex the other day and I noticest something. When I would *** it would be a light brown color. Why is that? Is it something I should be worried about?

you mean ur "***" or his? if its yours, i'd say it COULD be an infection, however, when i was younger and didnt follow my cycle, i'd think i had brown "***" when in fact it was my partner, how do you say, "dislodging" the blood that was just sitting inside me(normally the day of or day before my period)...and often at the end...now, i avoid sex for 2 days before and 2 days after...

A lot of time discharge gets a tiny bit of blood mixed in. Blood will turn a brownish color because your vagina is acidic. It's really nothing to be worried about. Could you be pregnant? That happens frequently for some people when they are.

Your "brown ***" is most definately blood. It is either blood from you about to be starting your period OR blood from you just ending. Sometimes it gets "trapped" up there. The browness just means its dried up... just like if you were to let blood dry up on your hand or something. Dont worry. Just Douche.

DON'T DOUCHE!!!! It effects the ph balance of your vagina and can cause infections.

There isn't anything that you can really do about it, except as a poster above mentioned, avoid sex 2 days before and 2 days after your period.

yeah douching is not good. however, to avoid an odor, i'd say just wash...also, after i have sex(wether i'm boarding a/f or not)rather than using all those "feminine hygiene" products that are so damned expensive lol, i use aloe baby wipes...and it works...hey, i feel cleaner than when i used to use the "woman wipes" lol...this is probably TMI, but it does ok with me.....
after sex(unprotected that is)i just put my middle finger on one side of the baby wipe, and use it to GENTLY clean the area in and around my inner lips(i dont go inside, but i make sure i get any pubic hair or any "left overs" me or my partner may have left there)...

If you happen to be talking about his... My husband went to the doctor not long ago with that problem, his was a prostate infection. Doc said it was in the semen not the urine.
