Brown Discharge Before Period But On the Pill?

I am a 20 year old sexually active female and have been on the oral contraceptive birth control for a little over a year now. My boyfriend and I sometimes use condoms, sometimes don't, but he always pulls out before he finishes. During my last 2 periods, I was extremely stressed out and experienced a lot of breast tenderness and cramps, but this month, I have not really been feeling anything of that sort, and 2 days before my last active pill, I experienced some brown and pink discharge. Last night when I wiped after going to the washroom, I also saw it was slightly tinted pink, and today on the last pill, I had some more brown discharge. I don't usually experience this sort of discharge, so I am extremely concerned and confused. Could it be a sign of implantation bleeding, or is it something I don't really need to stress over too much?

This is hormonal and not uncommon.  I would not worry at all but mention it to your doctor at your next ob/gyn check up.  good luck
