Brown Discharge after a period

I know there are tons of other questions about brown discharge and I have one more to add to the list.  I had my period just this past thursday 2/5 and finished sunday 2/8.  Then today, wednesday 2/11, I saw some light pink and then it turned to brown within a few hours....Im on birth control and havent missed any pills so Im not sure what this is.

Could someone please help out with this, any ideas would be great.  Im not hoping to be pregnant, I just want to know if this is okay/normal since it was only about a week since the start of my period.  My period was normal and like clockwork like always but this just worried me some.

Also, even something as stupid as stress can make your cycle go wack...so...it could be perfectly normal.

Sometimes, especially if just switching birth controls, or just starting a new one, it is normal for a woman to "spot" in between periods.

If you have been on the pill for a while, it could be an indication the hormones are not strong enough anymore.

OR if you are not on birth control, sometimes women "spot" after fertilization (AKA pregnancy).  Not trying to scare you, it could be perfectly normal.  But it wouldn't hurt to take a pregnancy test in a week or two.
