Brown Spots on inner theighs

I am a 47 year old divoced women, I have notice dark brown spots on both of my inner thighs. They do not hurt. They are just brown spots some are darker then others. Sometimes they turn out to be a little darker then my skin but turns dark brown. They don't appear to be raised. they have been there for a few years. I  make too much money to go to a clinc for sliding scale and not enough to have innsrance, (would not have money for food if I took the innurance policy at work)So I rarely go to the doctors. I have searched the net for information, and really don't think its flat warts or herps. It started out a few years ago with only one  or two, but I have noticed this past year they have incressed in numbers to about 2 dozen they look just like brown spots. Does anybody have a clue what they could be. I rarely have sex and it has been a very very lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng time since I have sex. Could they been age spots?

I have a few spots on my inner thigh that became darker than my regular skin tone after I got pregnant. I thought it would go away after giving birth but it did not. Decided to give dermal md lightening serum a try. I've only been using it for a little over a week. So not too much difference is noticible yet as it says it takes at least a month to see a difference. I read some of the other reviews about reactions developing and I can say I have not developed any negative reaction to dermal md serum and I have extremely sensitive skin. I'm really hoping that this dark patch lightens up after prolonged use.

I am only 16 and I have the same exact thing. They sometimes disappear and then show up again as more than before. Has anyone had any luck finding anything?

I'm 19 and have the same problem, and I've been researching but I completely forgot about having the same things on my shoulders and face when I was younger. The doctor said it was fungal related and I have some shampoo from then. It's definitely out of date but it does seem to be reducing the color of these spots on my inner thighs! It is called ketocinazole 2% and it is made by Patriot Pharmaceuticals. Maybe this can help you guys, because if you're like me these spots are super embarrassing and not appealing to the eye.

+ Natalyi  - i am hunting for answers here too,. same issue start out with a few now more in a bit larger in sizes, not hurting/ flat, my dr. told me old age as i am over 50 yrs now, but they look bad.   i must confess, i have been told i eat things not good for me,/ bad diet.  no sex, not much ever ;( ,  not much for exercise, i have tried several times but can't stick to exercise routine.  WHAT I DID GATHER FOR INFO, IS with a weak body, we lose some components, (not everyone/women ) due to individuals, as one very young pregnant woman states it happens after she became pregnant- so it seems it happen , this "aged spots", is when the body has a limited amount of "NITRIC OXI"DE " & it is called, :NITRIC OXIDE DEFICIENCIES",  nitric oxide deficiencies-- SO THIS IS WHAT I FOUND --- "" Increasing nitric oxide has become the new secret weapon for athletes and bodybuilders. Well i just found this post and i can tell you for sure they arent age spots. I am 20 years old and i have the exact same problem you have. I have been searching the internet for ideas of what the hell it could be from. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant right now and they started showing up around 3 or 4 months of my pregnancy so I thought it was from that but I guess its not. I started off with only a few and they were alot lighter, I keep getting more and they are darker now. They don't hurt and are completely flat but they are gross to look at... I know this post was from like 4 years ago but if you have any current knowledge of what it could be post back.

Sounds like age spots to me.  I am certainly no dr but from the sounds of that is what I thought.  Like Christie said if you need to just go see your dr but if they are not bothersome save your money LOL!!!!!!!!!!  Good Luck.

p.s.  Christie has a good head on her shoulders and KNOWS what she is talking about.  Take Care.

Please be aware that no one here can diagnose you with anything; you must see doctor in person for that.

It won't hurt to try OTC remedies, but if they don't help and you are bothered by the spots, do see a doctor.  Sounds like they don't bother you much, but you would just like to see them gone.  A consult with a family practitioner would not be terribly expensive (probably $75 or so), and most will keep the cost as low as possible if you explain your situation; even offering free samples of medications sometimes.  The worst place to go for care is to an emergency room or urgent care.  They are the most expensive.  A dermatologist is fairly expensive, too...but if this is a simple skin problem, family practice docs usually see a wide range in their practices.

Good luck to you!
