Brown discharge - two tampons?!

I've been having a brown watery discharge and a foul smell for a while but thought it was just my period after having my implanon removed. Then last night I removed my tampon before bed and realised there was another string.. I removed a second tampon that looked grey and wrinkly and I have no idea how long it has been in there. I have no symptoms of TSS, just a brown watery discharge like you get at the end of your period. Do I need to anything more or will this discharge just stop?

usually the discharge will stop but you need to seek medical attention from a obgyn just to make sure there is nothing serious going on with your body and things like this do happen more than you know but please go see your doctor asap

I would see a doctor about this asap. I'm guessing that its just what the older tampon didn't absorb or left behind, but since you don't know how long it was there, I would see a dr very soon.
