Brownish Discharge, Please help!

I was expecting my period on 9-25-07, but instead of my period, I had a brown discharge, I say discharge because it was just a small amount every time I would wipe, not enough to even soil a sanitary napkin. The discharge lasted for 3 days . Any idea what this brown discharge may have been?  Is it possible to be pregnant?

The brownish discharge is most likely the start of your period. Its when the uterus holds blood and then releases it in small amounts. The reason for it being brown would be because of the "old blood". It's nothing to be too concerned about. Just watch it and make sure nothing changes. If the brown discharge lasts for more than 5 days and you havent started you period by then, you should probably call your doctor and talk to him/her.

I would take a pregnancy test. Some women will have light bleeding or spotting when there period would be due when they are first pregnant. Good luck =)

so i skipped my period in september had it the last week in october but 2 weeks later something started happening down south and i really didnt know what was going on. it was brown kinda like the after math of a period. well i just thought i woulod let it pass and move on but it keeps happening and not sotpping, its very light but it wont stop its very wierd and im getting very nervous. when i go to the bathroom sometimes there are little blood clots but nothing to crazy what could it be? what do i do?

Have you taken a pregnancy test? I had basically the same thing happen (and it's still happening), and my home pregnancy test was positive within about 5 seconds! I have my first doctor's appointment in two weeks - we'll see how that goes!
