Bumps and cysts in the genital region

Within the past week I have noticed some chages in my genital region. I have been fairly frightened because a couple of months back I was dating someone who had a less than savory sex history and he entered me without a condom before I could stop him to tell him to put on one (after which he did) I have what may be two sebaceous cysts above my labia majora. They are above the vagina, not actually on it. One is a small knot and the other is significantly larger. They remind me of undeveloped boils because there is no head on either. Then, this morning, I woke up with what seems to be a yeast infection (because of itching). Since I have been paranoid because of the appearance of the cysts, I took a mirror to look at my labia minora. Well, it was fine except at the very bottom there were  2-3 exremely small bumps that were pretty close to the same color of the labia minora. They are not sore or *****, but I am not sure if they were there before or not. I am scared to death that I have HPV or herpes. I have made a doctors appt for Monday, but was wondering if anyone had any insight to help me before then. Any help would be appreciated. I am freaking out really bad.

Searched and results show see a gyn.  if over 40 could be cancer.  Only they can diagnose.  I have 2 and am waiting for gyn to call me.  Just had 2 surgeries, now this. Sex is on hold again.  It hurts. My poor loving husband.  And me.  Oh well. Wait and let him examine you.  If over 40 go for a biopsy. There are cancer gyn's.  Careful as I am that you don't open it. Could get infected. Who needs that? You aren't alone. I have one on the wall going into the vagina and one outside between vagina area and rectum area.  I am so depressed. But only they can diagnose. Please relax and wait. DOn't pull on it..you don't want it to open and get infected.  That would be much worse.  If it intefers with sex or walking they are more likely to do something about it.  Please everyone even a SECOND of contact can give you herpes or warts. Removal is painful of warts I hear. And both are contagious. No sex without condoms even though I know you want to skip them.  It's not worth it.  Before marriage both of us were tested on everything.  I was afraid I might be carrying something. Please protect yourself. Even a second of exposure could lead to std's.  It's just not worth it.  Best of luck with your gyn...and mind. I too am waiting.

i was wondering if anyone has any insight on what i might have.  i have noticed that i have a small pea sized pump under the skin, under the vaginal opening, closer to me rectum.  its hard and doesn't hurt unless you press down hard on it.  i've been thinking its a cyst but would like to find out a little more so i can try and do something about it.  i have a doctor's appt in two weeks and would like to try and see if it will go away before then... any advice..?

I hear ya!!  I am also freaked out.  I thought I had a YI couple weeks ago, did a self exam and saw something pretty freaky, that I never saw before( mind you I don't recall looking so closely before either)  inside the vaginal opening in the inside, a mass of skin colored flesh with little tag like things hanging from it.  Some are big.. immediatley I thought warts..but I am married with child for 3 years.. since I have noticed them, that's all I can think about.  I feel them now when I walk, sit..also am doing self exams 6x's a day.  Does anyone with similar experince ever get answers?

i meant call your dr. to get in for a "looksie" rather than waiting until monday. when i was worried about my thing, i called and explained that i was nervous/worried/stressed/looking at my vagina like 6 times a day. so she told me to come right in. i didnt care who i saw. i had a YI and those other things as i said were skin tags and the other area that scared me is called "rugae" (sp?) which is normal vaginal appearance. thats my dr talk. haha haha!

No, I did not have unproctected sex with him a lot it, was only for maybe 30 seconds tops... but I am a worry wart so I am freaking out (probably because the cysts and the yeast infection like itching all happened within the span of a week). My doctors won't do phone diagnosises. There are too many medical law suits in the state of Florida for that. Thanks for talking with me. I am starting to feel a little more confident.

i forgot to add that unless you have been promiscuous in the past and did not use protection, i may say there is cause for worry. if its JUST based on this 30 sec. unprotected situation, seriously, i would not worry.
will you let us know after your appt?

they could very well be skin tags and have been there for a while but since you've been "inspecting" you notice a heck of a lot more!

genital warts are white, rough and have a "cauliflower" appearance.
did you have unprotected sex a lot with that guy? or just for a few seconds until he put the condom on? cuz if thats the case i really wouldnt worry. (easier said than done though huh?)
cant you call your dr. back and ask to come in tomorrow or even fri? i wouldnt want to wait till monday. too stressful.

The look a lot like tiny skin tags. they don't really look like sores or warts, but I have read that warts can look a lot like skin tags as well. They are located on the inside of the inner lips. I have to spread them in order to see them.

hmmm...
so if you open the vaginal lips they are located on the inside of the lip? they are skin color? are they clear/bubbly/blistery in appearance?
i know i FREAKED out when i saw something inside by my vagina and called the dr. she said they are hymenal (sp?) skin tags. do you get the feeling they could be that? they can "hang out" on the vaginal lips as well.

The cysts itch sometimes, but I was mostly refering to my labia minora (inner lips). The couple of tiny bumps on inside my labia minora are what scare me most. I just wish I knew if they were there before or not. I can live with having a yeast infection, if I have an STD it's a different story.

i understand how scarry it is to find things down there that are usually not supposed there or that you havent noticed it before. from what it sounds like to me (until you get your appt) that they are either ingrown hairs or bartholins cysts. both harmless but a nuisance. i would take a HOT cloth and place it on the area as often as you can.
when you said itching, do you mean inside the vaginal area or the bumps? i have had bartholins cyst before and they can be itchy and hurt at the same time. same with ingrown hairs.
