Burning, inflamed and swollen vagina and vulva after sex

So I had sex with a friend of mine a few days ago and now my vulva is inflamed and also has a swollen and burning itch to it, I also noticed that my vagina is also swollen. I am a bit worried, I am not sure if it is a normal thing or if it is something else. Please help!

Sounds like a yeast infection to me...could be something more serious though. You can buy a test kit from Vagisil that will tell you if you have a yeast infection or if you need to be seen by your doctor...i would stop having sex though until you find out what it is

Hi,
I'm taking it that there was no form of protection used?  It doesn't sound normal to be honest.  It could be something as simple as a yeast infection but I would see a doctor just to make sure.  That way they can also recommend the right type of meds to use in case there is something wrong.  Good luck :)
