C section and swollen incision

by DAR2, Jul 29, 2006 12:00AM
I had a c section 6 weeks ago and am still swollen right above my incision.  It feels hard and looks like a roll.  I am not in a lot of pain anymore but do still feel discomfort.  The swelling seems to be larger on days that I am more active.  Is this normal and how long will it take to go away?

I had mine done 6 years ago and my stomach has never gone back to what it did. It makes my stomach look bigger that what it really is because of that. If that is what you are talking about. Your stomach is hard to get back to what it was before since a cut was done in the lower part of it.
