Hi there and welcome.  Sorry for your fertility battle.  Most couples do go on to have a baby, know that!  Mild cramping can be a part of early pregnancy or your period coming.  It is hard to say which.  Try not to worry and go on about your day.  That you ovulated is a good sign.  Cycles/patterns CAN switch.  If you hadn't been ovulating, you could not begin ovulating.  Do you track your cycle?  How long is it usually?  Are you working with a fertility doctor?  Taking clomid?
