I recently had a sterotactic biopsy that showed that I had mildly atypicalAtypical pneumonia lobular hyperplasia. I was diagnosed in 1993 with atypicalAtypical pneumonia mast cell disease. Could the pathologist have mistaken the mast cell disease for ALH? I am scheduled for anothe mamogram (mammogram) and It was recommened that I meet with two surgeions to discuss excisonal biopsy and other options of treatment on a third area they where unable to biopsy with the sterotactic method? Should I also get an openion from an oncologist before proceeding with a biopsy?
