*Can implantation bleeding look like blood from a light period?

I am curious to know if implantation bleeding can look like the blood from a light period. We been trying to have a baby for a couple months now. I missed my period and had symptoms like my period was coming or some people said, early pregnancy symptoms. The other day I went to the bathroom and there was light pink blood and a little red on the toiletpaper and that was the only time that day. Today I saw the same thing and no more after that. I was thinking it was my period, but it never was like that before.  By the way, I didn't take a pregnancy test yet to find out if I'm pregnant or not. I will soon.

Wait a little longer to test it. As soon as I can, I'm going to get a hpt. The blood only lasted for those two days too. Now im feeling little cramps again in my lower abdominal. I don't know what is going on. But good luck to you. Thanks

I had exact same thing last week, once was one wipe of Tp and was a red blood streak mixed with Cm and 2 days later I had pink streak of blood only once when I wiped and I thought Af was coming for sure even put on a pad and went my merry way but now 1 week later no af and I am late now which never happens.  I did hpt day after I had red streak of blood and it was Neg but now I am late for AF so maybe it was to soon to test?.. The only other times I had this was when I fell pregnant 3 other times with my kids and I never tested before my af was due always a week or two after I missed and they were all +..  My only problem is my hubby had vasectomy 5 years ago after our last baby so chances I am preg are slim but I am starting to wonder if I could be?
