Can pads chafe?

The skin around my vagina is itchy and it always occurs when I wear pads. I don't know what to do.

Hi there.  Hm.  I do suppose you could be having  a reaction to pad.  Can you try a different brand or size to see if it continues?  Are tampons a possibility for you?

I just started trying tampons and that seems to be helping. I've been running and biking more and that seemed to make everything worse so I started using tampons. Thank you, I know this question doesn't have a clear answer.
