Can someone answer this ? please?

I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I need an answer.  No one is ANXIETY will help.  I am taking bc, effexor xr (75mg), and a one a day multivitamin.  My doc perscribed me an off brand of xanax (0.25mg), and I was wondering if it will do anything to me if I take all of the prescribed medications.  I had to pay for this med, and I dont want my money to go to waste by not using it, but I also dont want to harm my body.  Could someone please help me?  Thanks so very much.

did you doctor take you off a medication and replace it with another?  If so I wouldn't mix medication.

no.  i have been on bc and effexor for about two months.  She prescribed the effexor and anxiety meds at the same time.
