Can spotting from period only be on toilet paper?

Can spotting from your period only appear on toilet paper? Its only every once in awhile & is a light pinkish color most of time & not enough to cover a pad! I thought it may be a uti but I don't have systoms? Also thought it could be implation bleeding but I just had tubes tied & we haven't had sex the pass 2 months cause I also had a d&c done for heavy bleeding & the mirena but the mirena didn't work so that's why my tubes were tied!
