Cerazette brown discharge

I'm 21 years old, with no other health problems other than what I will write here, but I've google'd for the answer a long time and not found a similar case.
A year ago, I went on cerazette and had a period about every 3-4 months. I had cramping and was examined but nothing was found. No chlamydia, I had a clean bladder, etc.
About two months ago I went off of cerazette and stayed off for a month. I went back on after getting my period and finishing it, then had brown discharge about a week later.
This discharge didn't stop. I stopped taking the pill on the 10th day, thinking it was because of it. The brown discharge went away. I started taking it again two days ago, and the brown discharge happens again.
It's not period old blood, it's just brown discharge that only happens when I take the pill and disappears completely when I don't.
Why could this be?
I've had regular sex and tried to be careful but there is always that small risk.

im exactly the same, i came off it for 8 months and went back on and its been a whole week after finishing my period and i still got this brown stuff that wont stop so it cant be old blood can it, im sure its the cerazette

I'm exactly the same too! Started taking Cerazette a year ago and had periods that lasted a week every 2-3 months. Then every fortnight. I had my last period 3 weeks ago, then a week later started spotting with mild cramping. I thought, here we go again, another period. But it isn't a period, it's dark brown spotting with mild on and off cramping and it hasn't stopped for 2 weeks. Grrr! I've been so emotional as well. I've stopped taking Cerazette now in the hope it'll calm down. I'm panicking I've got chlamydia or cervical cancer (even though I go for regular screening). I'm sure now it's that crappy Cerazette. I hate not knowing where I am with this pill. I've done so many pregnancy tests when I didn't get a period. I'm going back on a pill that gives you a break to have a period, and one that doesn't last a week!!!
