Cervix position? Prolapse?

Hi everyone,

I start using menstrual cups about a year and a half ago. For anyone who has used them, you would kow it is a learning curve. Now, to choose the right cup, you have to measure your cervix. This is when i noticed something was up. My cervix most of the time sits about an inch into the vaginal opening. When i have my period it is literally at the opening. This also occurs sometimes when i am not menstrating. I often get a heavy feeling in my vagina, and sometimes can actualy feel my cerviz when i wipe. I went to my gyno, about 6 months back, about another matter, and i mentioned it. He checked whilst i was laying down, and said my cervix was definately not that low, he said it was a normal height, and believed it would take a bit of reaching to actually touch it. When i went home, i checked again when sitting on the toilet.. it is definately there low as ever! He explained to me that it is definately not prolapsed..

So for some reason, it is normal when i lay down, but long otherwise.. obviously it would pull back slightly when laying down anyway, but you woulsnt think that much.

I am really concerned about it. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

Extra info
Never been pregnant
24 years old
Over weight for many years
Good pelvic floor muscles (as far as i am aware, but can do pelvic floor exercises without any issues)

Thank you again!
