Chance of Pregnancy ???

I was to be ovulating around October 4th and 5th.  I confirmed with ovulation strips and charting.  My husband and I had intercourse once every day during this week.  Since the 4th and 5th my breasts have been sore consistently.  Some days they are sorer than others.  I have no other obvious pregnancy symptoms.  My period is due mid next week.  How many of you experienced symptoms so early or none at all and still be pregnant.  Is what I'm feeling, which is not much than breast soreness (which could be PMS) enough to keep my hope that I may be pregnant?

Thanks everyone, I'll definitely keep all of you posted.

Regarding my sore breasts, I do get them usually right before my period, but never for almost my entire cycle like this month.  Anyways who knows until I take the test.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

If you have sore breasts every month, I would say it's PMS. If it's something new, then your chances might be better for pregnancy. The tricky thing, and probably the reason there are so many 'could I be pregnant?' posts is that PMS and early pregnancy symptoms are often the same. The rise in progesterone after ovulation can cause sore breasts, belly swelling, light cramping, gas, fatigue, even nausea-- whether you're pregnant or not. It causes those who don't want to be pregnant to worry, and those who wish they were pregnant to speculate and get excited. And the weirder a woman's cycle is, the crazier the attached emotions.

Hi, the most common early sign of pregnancy is breast tenderness. Watch out for any unexpected bleeding. It may be PMS but this usually happens a couple of days before your period. It may be too early to get an accurate HPT yet. If you don't come on your period the day due, take a HTP the next day. It should be accurate! Good luck

I am TTC also and we just started last month.  I was experiencing severe breast tenderness, right at the tip of my nipples, that I had never experienced before.  I was so sure that I was pregnant and when i took a HPT it turned out I wasn't.  I wouldn't rely on any 'possible' early pregnancy symptoms until you have missed your period or have a positive HPT.  Good luck in TTC and if it turns out that you are pregnant, congrats and keep us informed!  If not, don't fret, there are lots of us int he same boat!  We can support one another!
Take care,

Oh, and here's some good info that was posted a while ago:

Late 20's....15-20% chance of implantation in any given mo...5-6.7 mos on ave to implant....86-93% will be PG in a yr.

Early 30's....10-15% chance of implantation in any given mo...6.7-10 mos to implant....72-86% will be PG in a yr.

Late 30's....8.3-10% chance of implantation in any given mo...10-12 mos....65-72% will be PG in a yr.

The first sign of my pg was my missed period and positive hpt.

When I "felt" pg it ended up that I was not, and when I did get pg I didn't "feel" pg.  I was completely expecting my period to show up, even though we had been ttc.  I just didn't "feel" pg, but I got a nice surprise.

If you normally have sore breasts during PMS, then I don't think that's a reliable sign to predict pg.  It's very hard, I know, but all you can do is wait until next week.

But if you know when you ovulated and you timed your sex right, then your chances are probably good.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I believe that your sore breasts are just PMS. However, I dont want you to get your hopes shot down. I know how exciting it can be if even one simple symptom, like sore breats, appears.Especially if you are ttc. I would just wait and take a HPT if your period is late.Good Luck!

Always here!
