Clear Greenish Nipple Discharge and Itchy/Burning Vagina

Around 5 months ago an ordinary cyst was identified in the sonogram of my right breast. Now after 5 months, my right breast releases a clear greenish discharge. A gynecologist examined me and she didn't trace any lumps in my breasts, and she diagnosed the green discharge as an infection so she prescribed a second sonogram which has not yet been performed because there should be a 6-month pause from the first one. She also prescribed Metronidazole tablets (250 mg) and Cephalexin capsules(500 mg). I take two Metronidazole tablets every 12 hours and 1 Cephalexin capsule every 6 hours. After taking the medication for 4 days, there has been an increase in my vaginal discharge and it feels itchy and burning there in my urethral and genital area (It was not so before taking the medication.).I'm approaching my period, but it has never been itchy or burning. Are these two symptoms (nipple and vaginal discharge)related or the second one is a side effect of the antibiotics I'm taking? On the other hand, does the second symptom (itching & burning) signify a venereal infection like Gonorrhoea? (I trust my partner and we had sex 8 days ago.). After taking the last tablet and capsule, I'm going to give a blood, urine and fecal test. Will it help or a sample of my vaginal discharge should be tested too? Thank you for your help.

There is a known direct causal link to the use of anti-biotics and vaginal yeast infections.  To be sure, see your gyn.

Definately sounds like a yeast infection.  I get one every time I have to take antibiotics.  If you've not had one before, definately have your dr. look to veryify it but that's more then likely what it is.

Good luck with everything.
