Concerned about cramping. is this normal?

I had a hta surgery done on May 17, 2007. its now 4 days later and I am having severe cramping and bloating! can anyone tell me if they have had any similar problems with this surgery. Everything I have read about this surgery has been positive. But so far I am having alot of pain and discomfort. That is the reason I had this done to begin with... to stop the pain!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated. THanks!
