Confused about possible pregnancy

Hi guys, I had a regular period the last week of sept. (sep 25) Then I was normal for about 3 wks, then I started to have light staining/light spotting for about 7wks. The whole time I have been able to feel quickening and I've had nausea/headaches on and off. This isn't my first pregnancy, so I know what pregnancy feels like. I've taken 5 hpts over the past 12 wks, all neg, and my first pregnancy was the same way. I didn't know I was pregnant the first time until 22 1/2 wks. Any advice????? Thanks!!

Im having the same problem,i think i feel what is quickening but then it could be gas,  all my hpts were negative and I even had implantauion bleeding,so i made a docts app. But we as women know our bodies follow your instints and take care of yourself as if you were pregnant until you find out.

I agree completely. Go in for a blood test ... it is much more reliable. Additionally, a physical exam would indicate whether you are pregnant (my midwife gave me an exam at five weeks to make sure my uterus felt pregnant and it was not ectopic). At 10 weeks, I went back to the doctor and had another exam ... from barely touching me, the doctor said, "Wow, you certainly feel pregnant in there." Finally, if you are at least six weeks, an ultrasound should be showing by now.

I am not sure how far along you think you are (i.e. if you think you conceived before, during, or after the seven weeks of bleeding), but I would recommend requesting blood work and a physical exam to verify. If there is any question after the physical exam, I would request an ultrasound. It is possible your insurance will not cover the ultrasound if it turns out that you are not pregnant, but the peace of mind would be worth it to me. More than likely when you go in, the doctor will give you a urine test (which is much more sensitive than over-the-counter tests), and that may give you peace of mind as well. If I were you, I would probably take all four routes (the urine test at the dr's, the blood test at the dr's, the physical exam at the dr's, and the u/s at the dr's) just to be extra sure!

Best wishes!

Shedule an appt to have your blood drawn for hCG. But if your pregnancy tests are all negative then you are probably not pregnant. Good luck!
