Confused much!?

Hi, I'm new here I am not sure what the abbreviations are so please excuse everything being put bluntly.

I am currently 11 days late, I came off the impant after 2 years and 4 months as my partner and I decided to try for a baby. I came on my period 2 days after having the implanon taken out and it lasted 6 days. I am not sure whether this would class as a "true" period or not.

However I have done pregnancy tests from being a day late up until now I must have lost count how many I have done... I have had 1 positive test, a very faint plus on clearblue. I have since done 4 more tests that have come back negative so I don't know whether I should go to the doctors for a blood test to find out what is going on or whether it could be the implanon that has messed with my periods.

I have had some symptoms of being pregnant but are unsure whether it is all in my head, these are;

being sick, feeling dizzy and being sick, needing to wee...LOADS!!, sharp tingling pains in my side and lower abdomen, obviously no period, frequent headaches.

I have being telling myself I am not pregnant, seeing if that I could trick myself into getting my period but it didnt work.I was told that if i was all in my head it would probably work. Im probably an idiot for at least trying!!! haha.

Has anyone had this experience or knows anything about it. Advice or something would be great :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be the symptoms of pregnancy. If you miss your periods then you can test 1 week- 10 days after you miss your periods or you can test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and its presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy.

I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
