Confused

Ok,so I was almost 2wks late.hpt-neg, then when I did have my P it was dark blood for 4 days. Bled a little more the next couple days w slightly more red and tiny clots. Now I've been spotting for over a week. Occasionally, tender breasts, nausea, food cravings. W T HELL

If a period is late like yours was, it's normal to have an irregular/dark/heavy longer flow than normal. Were you stressed or sick recently? It could have made you ovulate late and caused your cycle to be longer than usual. The clots are also normal if your flow is longer and you are spotting. Tthere are hormones in the first couple days of your cycle that act like blood thinners so you don't get as many clots when you first get your period. but those hormones lessen as your period continues and you get more clots. The other symptoms you have are likely due to hormone fluctuations. But if it will give you some peace of mind or certainty you can take another hpt
