Consistent "brown" periods

I'm a little concerned. Lately, for the last 2 or 3 periods, I have ONLY had brown blood (very light). I know it could just be old blood that was not shed from the previous period, but no red at all? Hmm. They are very short, too. Maybe 3 days at the longest. Has anyone else experienced this? Any answers?
