Constant Brown Discharge

I am 19. On new years this year I delivered my first baby. I went home the next day, all checked out fine.
On feb. 21 i got the Mirena (5yr IUD). I know that for a couple wks/mnths it is possible to bleed or spot.
I only spotted for about a mnth and for the rest of the time i have had a bunch of light brown-dark brown discharge. What could it be???

Please do research on what side effects/problems women have been having with Mirena IUD.  I recently had my removed after 1 year of having it.

Hi , this is only old blood from your uterus . Many women get this at the end of a period and if you have the mirena coil this could be the reason until things settle down in a while . take care - Silver
