Constant Yeast?

Hi!

I'm reposting a similar issue I had before that I didn't get a response to.
I've been tested twice for herpes and both times its been negative.  Anytime I bring this up doctors tell me that my vagina is sensitive.

I get itching and burning on the left inner side of my outer labia every so often for years.  When I look in the mirror my whole vagina is swollen and red.  It gets more intense with sitting and occasionally my whole bottom will burn.   Right now my thighs are burning.   I know I have a yeast infection right now, could the discharge from the be irritating the back of my thighs?

I also have anal itching almost every day.  I don't know what to do about this anymore?  Has anyone experienced this? I've had every STD test under the sun, and as I said before both of my Herpes tests have been negative.  I'm starting to think this is all in my head but I don't know what to do.

If anyone has experienced anything similar and would like to share that would be great.  Thanks!

Go to your pharmacist and ask for a product called fluorajen, it is kept in the frig. It only cost 14.00 and will put the flora back in your vaginal area as well as help to get rid of the yeast inf. Its one pill a day, i take it.

Thx Iris!  I think when they tested for the yeast they also tested for the BV.

Do you think I should wait until I am finished with this course of Terconazole, or should I call my Dr today to perhaps get something else?  Thanks!

It still sounds like you have a bacterial infection.

Its back!

Was on the three day course for yeast (a prescription, forget the name starts with a T?).  It appeared to go away.  During that treatment I was concurrently taking Levaquin for an unrelated sickness.  Finished the Levaquin and the yeast seemed to go away.  Fast forward to last Friday and the yeast came back! I just so happen to have gone to my dr for my yearly exam and she did a culture which came back positive for yeast.  In that time frame I was having sex with my boyfriend and it started to feel really raw and painful.  This past Monday and Tuesday the itching and burning was so intense I wanted to cry in the middle of my office. Of course I looked in the mirror and saw what looked like really really really little cuts, I could barely see them. (maybe from sex?)  I didn't get the yeast prescription (same one) until yesterday but it didn't seem to make me feel better until this afternoon.   Do I wait until this is finished and if it doesn't work see the DR again?  Im debating getting a second opinion because maybe this is BV?  Or did the Levaquin perhaps give me a yeast infection?

These are my symptoms:

intense burning and itching
swollen and really red inner and outer labia
feels really raw in my vagina and labia
really really thick white discharge that turned yellow this AM after the first treatment

I was tested AGAIN for stds (including herpes), all came back negative.  What should I do?

have they tested you for a bacteria infection. Also try using dove nonscented soap down there.
