Contraceptive Diaphragm

I have a contraceotive diaphragm, haven't used it except when i tried it , a while ago. I looked it at again, and i didn't clean it right, it had mould on it, which came off with soap and water, but some is either stuck or left blackish marks.I tried disinfecting it by soaking it in chlorine a few hours. Will it still be okay to use it?Do you think its safe?Thanks
