Could I be pregnant?

Hi, my period is now 21 days late going by my regular 30 day cycle.  Since I had a miscarriage six months ago my periods have been irregular.  The last one I had turned up 12 days late.  I have taken many HPT's and have done a quantitive blood test all have said negative.  I did the blood test 45 days into my cycle. I am wondering because my period came on day 42 last month maybe my cycle thinks this is normal.  So the blood test I did was too soon.  I am a very impatient person just want to know.  Please if you have an answer for me please write.  I have heard of women who have low hcg levels during pregnancy.  Last time I was pregnant my hcg level was 21 and that was 8 days past my scheduled period(I think this is low). Please help Stacey

Well I MC last year as well and my doctor did say that some women have a low HCG level BUT even though it is low it will still go up if you are pregant. If you feel you are you should contact your doctor and ask them to do a HCG panel what that is they will take blood work like on a Monday and then have you come back in on a Thursday and do the test again. Even if you have a low HCG level it still will go up because you are pregant. Good luck and let me know the end result!
