Cramping, discharge, but no blood.

I just found out that i"m pregnant and yesterday I started cramping. The cramps were stronger than usual menstral cramps that felt more like contractions and I had several bowel movements. This was all early in the morning, by mid-afternoon I was feeling alittle better just sore in my stomach. I'm not bleeding at all but I am letting out lot's of discharge so I am wearing a pad. Is this a miscarriage? What should I do? Is there always bleeding involed in a miscarriage? I called the hospital and they told me to drink lot's of water and that this was normal but I'm still worried I might be having a miscarriage. Please Help.

The cramping could just be your uterus growing. When I was first pregnant I had really bad menstrual cramps for awhile. Your doctor could test your HCG levels and make sure they rise correctly. When I miscarried I had light brown spotting the whole time. Take it easy and if you are still worried call your doctor on Monday and see if you can get your HCG levels checked.
